New employees are assigned a broad range of tasks in order to familiarize them with all aspects of the design process. Field survey, calculations, design, and CAD-drafting are typical early tasks. Later, more advanced design and client interaction is expected. Employees advance as quickly as their talent, knowledge, and initiative permit.
