Joseph D. Renzulli

Associate

Joe Renzulli joined Altieri in 1978 after graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. He has extensive electrical systems design experience and has been responsible for the engineering of systems for museum, institutional, education, and aquarium projects. Joe has also been responsible for IT and AV systems design, notably for the 450,000 sf renovation and expansion of Staples High School in Westport, CT.

Joe excels at complex design challenges such as at the Philadelphia Museum of Art where the program requires reworking the main electrical distribution system while keeping the building open and running. He is also a highly skilled project manager, especially on projects requiring the coordination of numerous consultants.

Joe’s design approach focuses on maintaining the integrity of the architecture of existing, often historic, buildings such as the Huntington Avenue Theatre in Boston, originally designed and constructed as America’s first civic playhouse.
