Susan Fisher Plotner, LEED Green Associate

Associate

Director of Marketing & Business Development

Susan Fisher Plotner joined Altieri in 2018, bringing to the firm the benefit of her diverse career ranging from business management to photography. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brown University in 1980, her Executive Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School in 1988, and Diploma in Architectural Photography from the University of the Arts London in 2004. Prior to joining Altieri, Susan ran the college recruiting program for Citibank, led a regional travel business for American Express, developed and ran the marketing and human resources departments for the Council on International Educational Exchange, and moved her family to London for 11 years, where she launched a UK-/ US-based photography business specializing in architecture, interiors, and design imagery. Upon returning to the U.S., she also became a Contract Photographer for the New York Times.

Susan has brought leadership and an uncommon outlook and combination of skills to Altieri’s marketing and business development efforts, along with an integrated team approach to moving the business forward… not to mention her camera skills. She is customer-focused and super high-energy, with a deep appreciation for the built environment. Susan hails from a long line of artists, architects, engineers and architectural engineers. She holds dual US/UK citizenship, misses her favorite thing about London – the Thames River, but loves her local replacement – Fivemile River.
